Annual Report

St Augustine’s is a co-educational Catholic Primary School located in Frankston South and is one of two primary schools attached to the parish of St Francis Xavier in Frankston. The school was established in 1980 and is set on just over three hectares of land within a natural bush setting.

The school has spacious semi-rural grounds with spaces that also include a school oval, basketball court, kitchen garden, chicken coop and many other spaces developed to engage students in outdoor experiences. The school also boasts a spacious multi-purpose/performing arts hall which allows for the celebration of Masses and liturgies, school productions and provides a unique space for the school community to gather for assemblies and other events. The entire property is also securely fenced. These features, and more, contribute to the ability of the staff to deliver a curriculum that enhances and nurtures each individual child: spiritually, intellectually, morally, physically, socially and emotionally.

St Augustine’s prides itself on being more than a school about classrooms, play areas and general facilities. It is a school about the people who work here, the people who send their children here and, of course, the children.
